Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of all LGS design activities in the Department.
  • Designing Light Guage Steel Wall Panels, Floor Panels, Roof Panels, Ceiling Panels and Roof Truss using Frame CAD software.
  • Good knowledge in LGS Modular construction design and detailing.
  • Good understanding of design planning and management of the team.
  • Integrating Architectural Models from Revit to Frame CAD Detailer or Structure using Rev link.
  • Coordinating with other trades for Design development and deliverables.
  • Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
  • Ensure all project documentation/archiving is completed once projects are complete.
  • Preparing production and construction deliverables for USA.
  • Leading the structural design concepts that suits for manufacturing process.
  • Coordinating to Automation Team for Manufacturing process and factory design
  • Make design recommendations for product solutions, value engineering, custom designs, appropriate product application, etc., to enhance the opportunity to earn new business.
  • Ensure all project documentation/archiving is completed once projects are complete.
  • Coordinating to FrameCAD Detailers/Revit Modelers to arrange the presentation of shop drawings.
  • Preparing Design Report and Calculation reports for the Residential Projects.
  • Preparing Steel Structural Analysis of Main Structural framings for modular units.
  • Training and mentoring team members to improve LGS knowledge.
  • Reporting to Engineering Manager /Sr Director on daily basis for coordination and design development of LGS .
Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Engineer Degree in Civil / Structural with 8 to 10 years of experience and also has exp in Team Management
  2. Must have great knowledge in ASTM A653, AISI S100-16 LRFD Codes, ASCE 7-16 Codes, IBC Codes, IRC Codes etc.
  3. Excellent Familiarity in software like FrameCAD Structure, FrameCAD Detailer, Autodesk Revit, FrameCAD Revlink Integration, SAP2000, ETABS, Tekla Structures etc. 
  4. Strong practical knowledge and experience in Light Gauge Steel Construction along with Offsite and On-site assembly.
  5. Good knowledge in Steel Design code requirements and specifications.
  6. Familiar with F325iT, F450iT and ST925iT FrameCAD Machine Setups.
