Procurement Manager

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of goods, services, and materials in a timely, cost-effective manner while ensuring quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will manage a team of procurement engineers and contribute to strategic procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of procurement engineers.
- Source and procure materials, services, and goods for building construction, focusing on mechanical items.
- Oversee global sourcing, vendor development, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate bids and proposals to secure the best value.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
- Develop procurement strategies to align with business goals.
Must Haves:
- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP).
- Experience with contract and supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
- Strong client-facing skills, including excellent communication, reporting, and presentation abilities.
- International experience (especially with the USA) is a plus.
