What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will play a critical role on our Customer Experience team, ensuring each and every potential homeowner receives a world-class home purchasing experience. Your team will generate sales, show homes, and close home sales.

Essential Job Functions

  • Professionally greet every customer in an enthusiastic and professional manner.
  • Close home sales and meet home sales targets
  • Answer customer questions about our homes.
  • Invite customers to our customer experience center and provide model home tours
  • Explain to customers how our homes are built, the sustainability of ONX homes, and our customer value proposition.
  • Help customers customize their new dream home
  • Maintain communication with prospective home buyers
  • Supply customers with price estimates, product specifications, and general information
  • Make the home buying process simple and pleasurable
  • Respond quickly and personally to all email inquiries, voice mail messages, and/or other customer inquiries.
  • Track and report on customer conversions
  • Coordinate with marketing for advertising and email marketing campaign materials.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss team goals and strategies
  • Be a team player
  • Have fun while providing a great experience for the customer.

 

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience serving in a sales role
  • Competent computer skills for navigating the company website, emails, CRM, etc.
  • Proficient with basic Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Self-directed and motivated individual with the ability to work independently with a minimum level of direct supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well on a team; contribute and participate in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Retail customer sales experience and large ticket sales preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching
  • Sedentary Work:  Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
