Job Summary: 

The Workday Technical Consultant is responsible for the design, development, testing, and 
deployment of Workday configurations, integrations, and custom reports. The role requires a 
deep understanding of Workday's technical framework and a solid grasp of HR and financial 
business processes, as well as overseeing any changes to workflows for our India, UAE, and US 
locations. The person works closely with internal teams to ensure Workday solutions are 
aligned with business objectives and are implemented efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Workday Configuration and Development: 
  • Configure and customize Workday modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.) to meet organizational needs. 
  • Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Web Services, and other tools. 
  • Create and manage calculated fields, custom reports, and dashboards to fulfill reporting requirements. 
  • Implement security roles and permissions within Workday to ensure data integrity and compliance. 
2. Integration Development and Maintenance: 
  • Design, develop, and test integrations between Workday and external systems, including payroll and benefits platforms. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other systems. 
  • Monitor integration performance and implement enhancements as necessary. 
3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: 
  • Provide ongoing technical support for Workday configurations, integrations, and reports. 
  • Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues and implement corrective actions. 
  • Collaborate with Workday support and development teams to resolve complex issues. 
4. Client Engagement and Communication: 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes, translating them into Workday solutions. 
  • Offer technical expertise during meetings, workshops, and training sessions. 
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and integration processes for reference. 
5. Project Management and Collaboration: 
  • Collaborate with project managers and functional consultants to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Assist in project planning, timeline estimation, and resource allocation. 
  • Ensure timely delivery of tasks while maintaining high-quality standards. 
6. Continuous Learning and Improvement: 
  • Stay updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and best practices. 
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills. 
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and help establish best practices within the team. 
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Workday integration or technical consulting. 
  • Proven experience with Workday integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services). 
  • Strong background in Workday configuration, including report writing and calculated fields. 
Skills: 
  • Proficiency in Workday’s integration and reporting tools. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities for analyzing complex technical issues. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and clients. 
  • Project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. 
Certifications: 
  • Workday certifications in relevant areas (Integration, Reporting, HCM) are preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
