What You Will Be Doing

As a competent Construction  Foreman, you will coordinate operations at a construction site in Central Texas. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

Essential Job Functions
  • Strong reporting skills of project site’s daily progress and be liaison in communication between workers onsite and the project team to minimize any project delay.
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
  • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of subcontractors.
  • Track production and complete daily reports for leadership and site team.
  • Keep track and monitor incoming material, and problem-solve to eliminate any potential delay.
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Coordinator on-site to ensure appropriate material needs are available for subcontractors.
  • Resolve problems when they arise.
  • Confirm appropriate manpower available, and lead a crew in a safe and productive manager.
  • Run a clean and tidy job site.
  • Lead by example and teach a crew along the way.
Required Qualifications
  • High School or GED
  • Proven experience as a construction foreman.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively between workers and site team.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Problem-solving skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift heavy loads, work in awkward spaces safely and stand for long hours. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
